Clean Up Wash Ave 2012
THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all the volunteers who roll up their sleeves and clean up Washington Ave last Saturday! It was a huge success there were over 75 people participated what a fantastic neighborhood! Go Wash Ave!!!
If you have some pictures you want to share please send them to Kenneth@WineyNeighbor.com and I will put them up here 😉
Two days before the cleanup Michael from Park Delicatessen and Kenneth from The Winey Neighbor went to the Department of Sanitation to pick up the brooms, dust bin, gloves…etc. Supervisor Moore and his buddy are super nice we got a whole bunch of tools! Their office are located at the very very far South Eastern corner of Kings county line, in an old incinerator building.
We for sure got no shortage of tools. Kenneth’s Subaru Outback is stuffed! We picked up: 20 brooms, 14 dust pans, 6 shovels, 20 rakes, 100 sets of gloves, 100 trash bags.
