Washington Avenue-Prospect Height Association (WAPHA)
The Washington Avenue-Prospect Height Association (WAPHA) is a merchants association comprised of a network of merchants, residents, and property owners along and around the Washington Avenue business corridor in Brooklyn, New York.
The purpose of The Washington Avenue- Prospect Heights Association (WAPHA) is to provide support services for our Washington Avenue Merchants.
Our association aims to engage in community- building activities, such as:
1. Public Advocacy for Merchant, where the voices of the merchant community are lifted to lead positive social change and deliver value to members with information, advocacy, and service
2. Organizing Events that will drive businesses to Washington Avenue through neighbor to neighbor, business to business, and neighbor to business communication
3. Cleaning & Beautification, in which we mobilize merchants and residents, and join forces with the Department of Sanitation to create a cleaner and greener corridor
We envision a corridor where all merchants on Washington Avenue and Prospect Heights develop the capacity to create sustainable business for themselves and others.
